At the center of the mesmerizing rolling fields, lived a young shepherd. His life was untarnished, simple, and honest. His primary duty was essentially to tend to his flock of ewes.
Their gentle baas and the whispering of the gales among the single tree on the hilltop were his only associates. Day upon day, looking out for his charges instilled in him a feeling of tranquil contentment.
But, there were occasional moments of loneliness, when the shepherd boy would long for fellowship. On one such day because of sheer monotony, the shepherd boy orchestrated a naughty plot.
